EFFORTLESS EXPERTISE

We are adept in assisting large & complex projects and provide an efficient service to help you stay legally compliant & environmentally responsible.

Our Story

Ga Recycling and Waste Control (GRWC) started in the mid-90s by founder Amir Sahebdivani.  He began his carpet collection to feed a large chemical recycling facility in Augusta, Ga. but that plant only stayed open for a short period of time.

Shortly after, a partnership formed with Wellman, Inc, a large plastic processor located in South Carolina.  Together, they developed the first process for the mechanical recycling of carpet which was installed at the GRWC warehouse in Atlanta.  Over the years, we’ve improved & refined this process into the leading solution it is today.

In 2006, Kent Singleton joined GRWC.  With his expertise and maintenance background, Kent elevated the process to achieve new heights and exceed targets in quality and production.

As collection expanded, Hose Divani and his background in the waste industry helped expedite company expansion until we outgrew the original 16,000 sq ft facility.

In 2009, the decision was made to dismantle the old processing line and move it to a new facility; Wellman’s plant in South Carolina.

The dynamic shifted and so did the name. In 2009, Ga Recycling and Waste Control became Ga Carpet Recovery Center (GCRC) when Kent and Amir became official business partners. In 2014, GCRC moved from Atlanta to the neighboring city of East Point and a newer 46,000 sq ft warehouse more suited to our growing industrial requirements.

As of 2025, GCRC has a fleet of 3 tractors, 70 trailers and 10 full time employees ready to service the carpet and pad industry across Georgia.
